My name is Caraline, I am 27 years old, I live in Durham, NC, and I have the amazing privilege of growing young minds through my work as a preschool teacher. After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at age nineteen, I quickly became an advocate for this chronic pain condition and have had the opportunity to work with the Fibromyalgia Care Society of America as a Fibro Youth Advocate for many years. I have seen the incredible impact kindness can have on people in all aspects of life and I have the ability to teach the importance of kindness not only to the little ones in my classroom, but to everyone who comes into my life.
Channel Kindness is a digital platform created by Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. It is a safe space for young people to tell their stories of kindness, resilience, and community. By highlighting the people and organizations that are doing good in their communities, Channel Kindness’ audience is inspired to create a kinder and braver world, one story at a time.
