Audrey W. (she/her) is a Taiwanese-American coder, speaker, and community leader from the Bay Area, California, and is currently pursuing Cognitive Science at UC Berkeley. Her passion for using technology for social change has led her to code a digital platform named Affective Cookies, which inspires users to reduce cyberbullying through inclusivity and empathy. She has also taught hundreds of Taiwanese elementary students about mental health in an effort to break down the walls of stigma in the Asian community. In addition to the Born This Way Foundation, she serves as a youth advisor to GoodforMEdia, Common Sense, and the Technology & Adolescent Wellness (TAM) Program. Her innovative work has been recognized as a JED’s Student Voice of Mental Health Awardee, Pete Conrad Scholar, Apple WWDC22 scholar, and the youngest Bay Area Inno Under 25 recipient. In her free time, she loves writing Chinese calligraphy, performing diabolo (Chinese yoyo), and exploring nature.
