If you’re looking for a reminder of kindness, look no further! Below are 10 kind people who are remind us that all it takes is one person to make a huge difference! We hope these acts of kindness inspire you to engage in your own and give you some ideas as to where to start!

1) 12-year-old Sloan’s 5th annual “Diaper Drive,” an event she has been organizing since she was 7, donated 30,000 disposable diapers to Nourish Phoenix, a food and clothing bank that Sloan volunteered at all those years ago.


2)  An elderly British couple has spent the last 15 years fostering dogs that are in the kennel at Battersea Dogs Home, approximately 59 to be exact! And they have no plans of stopping.


3) This woman gave up her Olympic dreams to become a nun. Then, she’s raised $2.6M to feed families by running marathons.

4) With the help of over 40 volunteers and 150+ donors, OurBridge For Kids delivered hundreds of free grocery boxes to immigrant families fearing ICE raids in Charlotte, North Carolina. 


5)  The Phoenix Library, a project of Omar Hamad and his friend, Ibrahim Massri has secured a location to rebuild Gaza’s first new public library.


6) Lucas Rojas, age 16, of Florida, created LINKball: Kickball for ALL, an inclusive kickball league that allows the special needs community to experience the joy of playing sports. During fall and spring seasons, his free league brings together 48 individuals with special needs and approximately 60 teen volunteers to play side-by-side on inclusive teams that are designed to be educational.


7) This Californian teen founded Geared4Girls, a peer-support organization working to close the gender gap in robotics. By pairing experienced student-mentors with aspiring mentees, Geared4Girls enables girls to gain the technical skills, confidence, and encouragement needed to pursue their dreams in STEM. This organization has reached over 12,000 individuals, and even expanded chapters across the state of California


8) After feeling isolated by his schizophrenia, 22-year-old Colombian exchange student Michael Vargas Arango created a podcast called “The Monsters We Create” that was the winner of the NPR Podcast Challenge.
