With the theme of “A Garden in Outer Space,” We Are Family was excited to blast off into outer space and return with The Charleston Queer Youth Prom in 2022. The Charleston Queer Prom is that one magical night of the year for middle and high school students to dance, celebrate, and build community free from anti-LGBTQI+ discrimination. Nearly 250 youth attended the event presented by We Are Family, South Carolina’s oldest LGBTQ+ youth serving nonprofit.
