This Saturday, June 11th, marks the date of the first ever Family Pride Fest in Ottawa, Illinois. The organizer of the event Dylan Conmy, who is also the Manager of Prairie Fox Books, wanted to ensure the LGBTQ+ community felt seen, heard, and celebrated and has worked tirelessly with volunteers, local community members, and vendors to make this weekend one where Dylan says, everyone feels like family.

The funds from the Pride Festival will be going to the Youth Outlook Drop in Center, which supports LGBTQ+ youth’s mental, emotional, and physical health.
