We’re celebrating everything at Born This Way Foundation! This year, we had the unique opportunity to celebrate our rare, official “leap day” anniversary and twelve years of building a kinder, braver world since our launch on February 29, 2012; in March, we are celebrating the birthdays of both my daughter Natali and Born This Way Foundation’s co-founder, Stefani, whom you know as Lady Gaga. To mark these occasions and keep the joy going, I am proud to share with you our 2023 Impact Report.

We know from our research that young people in kinder communities rate their mental health as better, and that young people report giving, receiving, or even witnessing kindness would improve their mental wellness. So I invite you to read this report, to reflect on the impact we’ve achieved together, and more importantly, learn more about the kind actions we can each practice to work in partnership with young people to build a world that supports their mental health.

Within this report, you’ll find the brave stories, unique perspectives, and aspirational ideas of the young Advisory Board members who guide Born This Way Foundation. And for my daughter’s special day, I invite you to find inspiration for the kindness you can share with yourself and your community.

Each one of your acts of kindness, large or small, drives a transformative ripple effect that is building a kinder, braver world – I am so grateful for you.
