Every student has a story. But for Krista Ashbaugh, a high school graduate from Oregon who spent a large amount of time in the foster system, finding her path forward hasn’t always been easy. In this film we see how Ashbaugh, a graduate from Sabin-Schellenberg Professional Technical Center in Oregon’s North Clackamas School District, gets inspired by her studies. She decides to seek a career in the health field with advice and mentorship from Lyn Gray, a health services teacher who mentored Krista and encouraged her to pursue her passion.
