#BeKind21: Be An Anchor

September 19, 2019

Today’s #BeKind21 message is brought to you by our partners at Find Your Anchor.

I want to start by sharing a reminder: no act of kindness is too small.

The physical form of Find Your Anchor is a small blue box packed with various materials designed to inspire, soothe, and offer support. These boxes are then planted in public places (the library, the Vegas strip, etc.) to be found by those in need; specifically those close to suicide in one way or another. The boxes are intended to be organic in the sense that each person can add their own inspiration and anchors into the box before passing it along.

Kindness is the heart and soul of what we do. We believe that kindness helps promote empathy and personal connection, lessening an individual’s feelings of isolation. By bringing more acts of kindness into the world, we strengthen those bonds of connection, and, as a result, grow our own sense of community and belonging.

We’re excited to help each and every one of you build acts of kindness into your everyday lives with our gift of the 21+ Ways to Be Kind (printable) cards. Here’s a sneak peek of our cards:

Although no act of kindness is too small, we hope you enjoy these pocket-sized ideas to get you started spreading love.
