Channel Kindness Radio: Mind and Melody

On this episode of Channel Kindness Radio, Josh catches up with two music students at Florida Atlantic University who are long time volunteers at “Mind&Melody, Inc.” a non-profit 501c3 organization focused on using music to help people experiencing dementia and other neurological impairments. Join us for our first segment and find out how these musicians are helping people through the power of music.

 

Josh Hollin

Josh Hollin, 19, is a songwriter, musician and commercial music major at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. In addition to working with FAU's student run record label, Josh plays the string bass in his school's orchestra ensemble. In 2014, Josh had a hand in helping his classmates at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts in Hagerstown, Maryland, take home the $10,000 grand prize in the "Join The Shift" contest, a competition created to encourage young people to practice safe driving.
