Waves for Change hosts surf therapy for young children in South Africa. Founded in 2009, this non-profit organization leads engaging community-based workshops and child-friendly mental health services for young children exposed to poverty, violence, and trauma. Within Waves for Change guidance, these children experience the ocean, the breeze, and the sand and transition into a space of healing.
