As part of the #BeKind21 sign up process, we ask you to list your #BeKind21 Kindness Team, be it a team of yourself, your coworkers, your fellow classmates, or more. I want to make clear, though, that you are a part of my kindness team too, and I am grateful for that.
Every time you choose to take a nap, have a snack, surprise someone with a kind comment on social media, recycle, write down five things you love about yourself, wear a mask, or do any other act of kindness in service to yourself and others, you are benefitting our kindness team and the good we hope to share with this world. Today, for our team, I promise to take time in this busy afternoon to have a cup of tea and recenter.
