Your mental health is always a priority. To help you practice self-care, coping skills, and positive self-talk, we put together this list of mental health reminders from Find Your Shine, an Arizona-based group of dedicated, trauma-informed therapists led by Jaime Castillo, LCSW.

These therapists want you to feel heard, seen, and understood – here are just 8 of their mental health reminders:

1. There’s nothing wrong with putting yourself first.

2. It’s never too late to heal.

3. Give yourself permission to forgive yourself.

4. You never have to apologize for putting yourself first.

5. Do not let others define your worth.

6. It’s OK to keep learning and keep evolving. We are not meant to be static.

7. It’s possible to feel two things at once.

8. If you feel yourself drowning, reach out for help. Don’t wait until you’ve reached rock button.
