Poet and Advocate Roxana Preciado

Roxana Preciado is a LatinX indie author and artist recognized for her work as a poet and activist. Born in Jalisco, Mexico, Roxana immigrated to the US when she was four years old, and she’s been writing poetry since she was 12 years old. As a public speaker and community organizer, she often speaks to LGBTQ+ teens and young adults about finding their voice and encourages them to tell their stories.

Alfredo Hernandez

Alfredo Hernandez, 24, was born and raised in North Hollywood, CA. During his time at California State University, Los Angeles, where he received his B.A. in cinema with a minor in social media marketing, Alfredo was part of the Queer Connection, a safe space for LGBTQIA+ to meet and have a place to call their own. He is also a part of Hermanos Unidos, a Latin-based organization dedicated to empowering students through education, community service and networking opportunities in the hopes of becoming Academic Scholars, Community Leaders, and Young Professionals.
