Once her mother discovered her eating disorder when she was 14 years old, Eliana had a choice to make. Either receive in-patient treatment or work through her challenges head-on. Eliana chose to take matters into her own hands. When she attended a Girls Spark Summit, Eliana found supportive friends who believed in the same causes she did and was able to heal her physical and mental health through information she learned from experts who partnered with the non-profit. From a lack of confidence when she first joined to representing Girls Spark as the co-president of the teen leadership board, Eliana has thrived.
